St. Paul, MN - Effective immediately, CRS has extended the dealer warranty for SAM4s Ellix 20 and SAM4s Ellix10 POS printers.  The warranty is now two years for the auto-cutter and thermal print head (TPH), and three years for all other components.  This warranty is retroactive for all past sales.

High-speed SAM4s Ellix 10 and Ellix 20 POS printers are built by Korean manufacturer Shin-Heung, well known for producing quality commercial-grade SAM4s electronic cash registers (ECRs).  SAM4s printers are compatible with all SAM4s products, in addition to many other ECRs and PC-based POS systems.

Bluetooth Wireless Interface for Samsung/Bixolon POS Printers

St. Paul, MN - CRS, Inc. has announced the release of the Samsung Bluetooth wireless interface option for its series of Samsung receipt printers. Samsung SRP 270 and SRP 350 series printers can now be purchased with the Bluetooth capability, or existing printers can be updated with an optional interface card. The ECR or PC host device interface is available for serial or USB connection.

Samsung receipt printers are used in many POS applications, including retail, quick service and fine dining restaurants. Often printers are remotely located, some distance away from the POS terminal in kitchens, preparation areas, or customer pick-up locations. Using wireless technology, retailers and restaurateurs can avoid the inconvenience and expense of running communication wiring. Bluetooth interfacing allows Samsung printers to be located up to 300 feet from the terminal.
