CRS is proud to announce the addition of its latest new all-in-one touch screen terminal to its Diamond Series line of POS terminals and monitors. The IT-8830 / 89300 are constructed with custom industrial-style motherboard, custom industrial-style power supply, and with sturdy die cast aluminum housings – all to withstand the rigors of harsh hospitality environments. It features a bright 250 nit 15.1" TFT high-resolution 1024 x 768 color LCD with industry leading ELO resistive touch technology. Standard features include a C3 800 processor, 128MB DRAM (expandable to 512MB), three available RS232C, two USB, one parallel, Ethernet LAN, and cash drawer ports. The IT 8900 is certified with DOS, Windows 98, 2000, NT, XP, WinCE and Linux RedHat 7.3. Options include customer pole display, integrated magnetic card reader, compact flash, external CD-ROM or USB floppy disk drive, and an internal 3.5" hard disk drive.

St. St. Paul, MN - Effective immediately, CRS has extended the dealer warranty on selected Diamond Series Terminals and Touch Screen Monitors from one to two years. Models affected include the IT 1000 and IT 2000 integrated POS terminals and the TM-1000, TM-2000 and TM-3000 touch screens. The change reflects the confidence CRS has in the reliability of the products and is designed to further reduce risk to resellers. CRS released the Diamond Series in 2002, to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of CRS. Diamond series terminals and touch screens are distributed by CRS to VARs and Resellers specializing in POS, Banking & Kiosk markets.

CRS has announced the addition of two new all-in-one touch screen thin client terminals to its Diamond Series line of POS terminals and monitors. The ITC-800 (with 12.1" TFT LCD) and ITC-900 (with 15.1" TFT LCD) feature compact flash memory and choice of operating systems: Windows® XP Embedded, Windows® CE or Windows® Embedded for Point of Service (WePOS). Quiet, small, fast and fan-less, these terminals are specifically designed to operate in harsh restaurant environments, where POS equipment is subjected to heat, humidity, grease, and dust. Without moving parts such as the disk drive and fan, ITC-800/900 terminals provide quieter operation, fast booting, improved reliability and lower total cost of ownership. Additional benefits include low initial investment, lower power consumption (allows the use of smaller lower-cost power conditioners), and extreme reliability. The ITC-800/900 supports multiple POS peripherals and features a sturdy cast aluminum housing. CRS resellers have successfully installed the new Diamond ITC-800/900 thin client touch screen with Posera's Maitre'D POS, Digital Dining POS, and Restaurant Manager™ from ASI,Infotouch®, Keystroke Point of Sale, and other popular POS applications.
